Good Workout!

Today I worked out for an hour! I did the eliptical for 30 minutes then I did weight training on my arms. They are feelin' like jello! But I feel good and rejuvinated! I stepped on the scale at Mom's today and I think I gained a couple pounds over the Holiday but that will come off quickly! I am proud of myself though because I did NOT feel like going to the gym.The roads are terrible with snow and it was foggy and cold. I made myself go and I am so glad I did...Good Workout today Nikki!! Keep it up :)

My goal

My goal is to complete my first half marathon that takes place in May of this year. I thought it would be a great idea to sign up for this as motivation to work out. My only problem I face is that I have a hard time with being consistent. I will work out for two days and then fizz out. So, I decided to lay out a pair of size 12 jeans I want to fit into on a chair in my room. It will be a constant reminder to me that I need to go work out. No pain No gain! :) I will keep you posted on my workouts and progress I have made. So stay tuned :)

I personally want to change my lifestyle to incorporate exercise and eating healthier as part of my daily routine. I want to get to the point where I don't have to think about if I want to work out or not. I just want to do it! I want to be able to grab for a piece of fruit instead of fries when I am craving a snack.
